Take a peek at your browser's address bar. You'll notice we're not a .com domain, but a .coffee. Many customer ask why did we choose the .coffee domain over a .com.
There are a few reasons, but the main one is .coffee exaplains exactly who we are and what we're about - Coffee.
.Coffee became a gTLD domain, or generic top-level domain, in April 2014. This means that .coffee was available for businesses, organizations and people to register sites with, and it’s just as credible as a .com, .net or other TLD extension.
For us, this was an opportunity to get a URL that described what we do and was highly respected. So we jumped at the chance to register the domain.
Most of all, however, we chose .coffee because it describes us. In today’s digital age, a company’s web address is their business name.
We also liked how the domain makes us different, because we are. Many companies have .com and .net extensions, which is fine. We’re not just a commercial business, though. We’re coffee connoisseurs and developers who are passionate about all things coffee.
Coffee is the foundation of everything that we do here. It defines our day-to-day activities, and we chose a domain that reflects that.
